Riyadh to host a forum on media and digital communication

The first initiative of its kind and will last for four days

Riyadh to host forum and specialized exhibition in the "new media", and its role in communication and marketing via the Internet and mobile phone, an initiative is the first of its kind.
And holding a "Media Forum and digital communication" during the period 22-25 November 1433 H (9-12 September / September 2012) for four days, under the auspices of His Excellency the Minister of Communications and Information Technology Engineer Mohamed Jamil Bin Ahmed Mulla.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology to expand the use of information technology in all areas of life to achieve the objectives of the "National Plan for Communications and Information Technology", which oversees the implementation.
The supervisor of the Forum that the Forum was designed "so that the interactive arena of ideas, initiatives and new experiences in the field of digital media in general, even dynamically contribute to the development of this sector, rapid growth and high impact."
He added that the figures and statistics confirm that digital media has become an important factor in the formation of society, and turned into a huge industry, and has become an important focus in youth initiatives, is no longer possible to proceed without the presence of an annual event combines an interest in the industry, and offer various technical issues and technical help being developed for discussion and exchange of views.
The Forum addresses the eight core areas, namely: electronic media, electronic transactions, video games, e-commerce, the Internet in the Arab world, social media, mobile phone, and digital initiatives. The Forum includes a number of seminars, in addition to a range of interactive activities and specialized training courses.
