Abduction of Vice Consul in Aden, Saudi

Gunmen had objected to the Vice-Consul 4 months ago and seized his car

Yemeni police said that gunmen kidnapped Wednesday morning Abdallah al-Khaldi, Vice Consul of  Saudi Arabia, in Aden,the largest city in the south, where al Qaeda is trying to strengthen its presence.
The police source said that unknown gunmen have kidnapped while Khalidi was leaving his house in the neighborhood of Mansoura.
The source pointed out that the militants were intercepted Vice Consul four months ago and seized his car.
Is controlled by gunmen of the base of large areas in southern Yemen, seizing the turmoil caused by the weakness of central authority after the movement of popular protests that forced former President Ali Abdullah Saleh to give up power.
Al Qaeda has stepped up its attacks as of late last month after the receipt of the new President Abed Rabbo Mansour Hadi officially in favor of his powers who ruled Yemen for 33 years.
